A really pleasant autumn weekend.  A warm welcome and an ideal and very comfortable cottage.  Many thanks for the children’s gifts which was a nice surprise.  We wanted for nothing.  Great weekend.  Thank you & a wonderful welcome pack!

“Wonderful cosy cottage. Amanda has created the perfect setup for a family. She has thought of everything that you might need including a crib, steriliser, children’s toys/games for inside/out, books, high chair, baby shampoo/bubble bath etc. Everything had been thought of. The check in was extra special. We arrived to the smell of bread in the bread maker, music playing on the CD player a few select lights turned on, to create a cosy atmosphere and a gift with our sons name in it. You can tell that Amanda has a passion for hosting and has created the perfect setup for family stay. There was even a selection of food goodies for our arrival, that easily allowed for tea and breakfast for several days. Thank-you for a lovely stay.
We have been very fortunate to have travelled a lot and we have been spoilt in our time. But, Amanda you definitely raised the bar. Thank-you for a lovely stay. The house, the amenities and the extra special touches made this a trip that went well beyond what we expected.”

Thank you for everything Amanda – we have made some beautiful family memories during our stay here at Twin Cottage.  Highlights include a pony ride through the forest, sunny days at Avon & Friars beaches, crabbing in Mudeford Quay, pond dipping at Mill Lane, lunch at the Chewton Glen and relaxing just here in the garden.

Weather so so but we still had a lovely time at Twin Cottage!  Walked down to the stream behind the house, cycled, visited lymington, Moors Valley Park, Kingston Lacy and hopefully Exbury Gardens on our way home!  Hope to revisit soon with better weather and make it to the beach!

We had a wonderful family stay at Amanda’s cottage. The property was immaculately clean, everything one can think of needed in a house was present. We had 2 kids 5 and 1.5 years. They were busy exploring the toys and making full use of the garden. Loved everything about the property and Amanda was always so prompt in her responses.  There was a lovely surprise in the kitchen for us – fresh loaf of bread waiting for us in the bread maker! As we entered there was soft music with kids songs playing and a very warm welcoming feel. Kids had presents for them nicely wrapped up and named for them. They were thrilled!  Although we were here for a short time, the memories will be lovely to look back on for along time to come.  It’s a lovely cottage and an equally wonderful village!  Thank you Amanda. We will surely visit again soon

Another fantastic week at Twin Cottage!  So much to do, every day was an adventure…  feeding the animals at Longdown Acitivity Farm, beach days at Avon Beach and Mudeford Sandbank, Superworm trail at Moors Valley.  Can’t wait to come again!
